Weekend Shenanigans

November Sixteenth:

So my family doesn't usually ever celebrate Thanksgiving on actual Thanksgiving day, usually we do it the day after because it is easier for everyone, but this year we really mixed things up!! We celebrated Thanksgiving almost two weeks prior! We're just rebels like that… Haha! It was so fun getting to see my cousins and have our generation to mainly be the ones who through this Thanksgiving dinner, rather than all of our parents, it was such a blessing getting to hang out with them, meet my cousin's new wife, play bunco, eat delicious food, and fellowship. I am BEYOND thankful for my entire family! They are all so incredible and all love the Lord.

November Seventeenth:

November Seventeenth will always be very dear to my heart, because today marked mine and Sean's one year anniversary of dating. I can't believe that it has already been an entire year, time flies when you're having fun with the one you love. This year has been absolutely incredible, so many new adventures I got to experience, and they were all my favorite because I got to enjoy them with my buddy. Sean is so wonderful, and I am thrilled because in one hundred and eleven days I will be saying "I do" and will be married to the most amazing man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. God was so gracious to give him to me, and to not have me go through heartbreaks and multiple boyfriends to find "the one". Sean is my first and will be my last love.
We didn't do anything spectacular today, just a normal Sunday for us, but one thing that made today the best was knowing that I am engaged to him already. That in a few short months we will be married and enjoying our adventure together as one. Whenever I see my beautiful ring sparkling on my finger I can't help but smile and feel giddy, he is the best gift I have ever received, thank You for him.
Alright, enough mushy stuff….
Tonight, we played Apples to Apples with my cousins, which was a blast, then came home to my sister's house and played guitar and sang, it was a fun and relaxing night, a good way to end the weekend I'd say.
Be on the look out! Coming in December 2013, Sean and I will be doing a Christmas song cover together (:

Friends, how was your weekend? Do anything adventurous?
